University West Neighborhood Association Meeting on Sept 11
Our next meeting for UWNA is on Sept 11 at 6:30pm at the University Baptist Church (there will be signs but they usually put us in 201).
The agenda is as follows:
- Chuck Neal (2600 Stadium block) will speak about the released TCU master plan and how it impacts our neighborhood. If you would like to see it before the meeting, you can go to this link: Campus Master Plan.
- Upcoming water project by the city on Rogers, south of Log Cabin village
- Recognize efforts by neighbors to make the neighborhood nicer. Mark Durso (2600 Stadium Block) and Chuck Neal have replaced most of the street toppers. Michael Johnston (2400 Rogers block) continues to maintain and improve the triangle park at Rogers and Park Hill.
- New website (universitywest.org) and emails going out through Mail Chimp
- Miscellaneous
The 6th annual Santa in the Triangle (at Rogers and Park Hill) will be taking place on December 14th at 1pm.
It’s a little later this year because of the calendar (we avoid the Big 12 Championship game weekend).
